AccommodationsThe Catalina 36 has one of the most popular layouts of any sailboat on today's market. She has a forward cabin with custom Memory Foam mattress in the V-berth and removable centerpiece. This cabin features a privacy door, hanging locker, and storage compartments with an overhead hatch to insure ventilation. Next to port, is the head with shower seat, mirrors, vanity, and plenty of ventilation. Moving aft is the main salon with rich teak throughout, bulkhead mounted 32" HD Flat Screen TV with built in DVD and additional cabinetry. The comfortable U shaped dinette is to port and can be made into a double berth. Across and to starboard are two straight settees facing each other with a table between them that also converts into a single berth. Continuing aft the galley is to port & includes, pressure hot/cold water with a custom faucet over a double stainless sink, a two-burner propane stove and more than enough counter space for preparing large meals for the whole family. Across to starbord is the navigation station with plenty of room for books, electronics, and charts. Next aft is a large double quarter berth with privacy curtain, hanging lockers, and storage compartments. All cabin areas are light and airy.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SIESTA has a custom electrical system with a 1000 Watt Freedom AC inverter/DC Charger with a primary custom 450 amp-hour battery bank (4 six volt golf-cart batteries in series & parallel for a 12 volt bank. There is also a secondary 12 volt starter battery bank. All are controled with a Heart Interface digital electrical control.
