The Catalina 30 design is 1st in class for spaciousness & accommodations. They even have over 6' of headroom throughout the cabin! In the forepeak is a private stateroom with a large double, in a V-berth configuration, with an optional filler board. Just aft to port, is the head with a sink and a hand held shower. Opposite is a hanging locker, and storage drawers. This layout has the desirable bulkhead mounted dinette table to port. This arrangement allows for a huge salon when the table is in it’s stowed position. Opposite is a settee to starboard. The dinette can convert to a bed, and the settee can accommodate an extra guest as well. At the aft end of the salon is the galley to port and a nav table opposite. A sizable double quarter berth is in the stern.
The “U” shaped galley is situated just to starboard of the companionway. There is good light, ventilation, and easy passing to the cockpit or dinette. The galley is outfitted with a two-burner Hillerange Propane stove and oven. She has a double stainless steel sink with hot & cold pressurized water. She has a six gallon hot water heater with a heat exchanger from the engine as well as an AC element. Storage is supplemented by ample space outboard and behind the dinette and settee.
The is very roomy boat for the size. Great Bahama boat as well. Kept on the hard from April till December. She will sell fast.
