S/Y MING (formerly S/Y ECLIPSE), was built by Alloy and designed by the French navel architect, Ed Dubois, It would be hard to find a higher quality build or more comfortable layout. She also an awesome sailing yacht and she is extremely seaworthy as proven by her cruising and racing over many seas. She has completed some incredible voyages over the past decade! Ming has always had the best of captains and crew, with the assistance of her owner's open check book.
She has been constantly upgraded, having been retrofitted in 2001, 2006, 2014 and now in the shipyard for repair, retrofit and updated electronics. The yacht will be ready to sail the open seas again, soon, and in amazing condition.
She will be brought to the San Diego area, in short order, for easy viewing.Under retrofit include new mainsail is custom made in production.

"Ming" features double doors entering the salon/pilot house and breakfast dining area. She has a couch with a dining table. The excellent visibility makes for a great and comfortable area to enjoy the view without having to standup from the table to see the outside surroundings.
Just aft of the salon, "Ming" has three luxurious cabins for six guests.The aft master stateroom features a spacious and comfortable full beam layout, with a large center line queen bed as well as a corner wrap around couch with a desk and vanity. There are large port holes for perfect lightning. The master cabin also offers a private and large ensute head.
The port side guest cabin has a large centerline queen berth and excellent storage.There is also a small couch for additional comfort. This cabin also has an ensuite head for privacy and comfort. The starboard side cabin features twin berths and a third bunk berth when needed. All off the cabins have been upgraded and feature a modern and new feel.
The separate galley entry makes for a complete privacy from the yacht's activities and while the chef is preparing your favorite delicacies in the galley. There is private seating in the lounge or relax in the upper salon and enjoy the spectacular view while cruising.
The crew cabins offer accommodations for four or five and feature excellent separation from the guest cabins. "Ming" crew area features one double cabin and one twin bunk cabin, each with excellent space and storage. The Crew mess area can convert to a single cabin with pipe cot but offers a private area to keep the crew happy, The galley has also direct access to the deck area.

• Full exterior AWLGRIP Linear Matterhorn White/ Cinder paint, completed by Ocean Spray Marine Pty Ltd. • Teak Decks old caulking removed, seams re-cut, re-caulked and decks sanded to 120 grit finish. Paint lines re-covered. • Anchor Windlass rebuilt. • All deck hatch rubber seals replaced. • Topside Port-Holes re-insulated & re-sealed. • Mast, Boom & Rigging subject to full service and inspection (2014 Survey available on request)• Electronics serviced, re-installed & re-commissioned by Electronic Instrumentation Engineers. • All deck stanchions, push pit, pulpit & fasteners removed, inspected, replaced where necessary and re-installed using anti-corrosion solutions. • All safety equipment tested & replaced where necessary. EPIRB?s tested and batteries replaced. • Tenders refitted by Zodiac Marine Safe Qld.
