This Cary is described as a “one of a kind”. Most folks familiar with Cary 50s expect to see 4 gas guzzling V8 engines installed in the huge engine room. This, the final 50’ Cary Aventura, was described by one member of the Cary bloggers as “The best running 50’ I’d ever been on was the last one built with 12 cyl MTUs & Arnesons…boat was a beast.” She’s powered with a pair of 1000 horsepower MTUs with only 600 hours since new. They are coupled to military spec Arneson surface drives with ZF transmissions.
Carys were built to take the curse of the Gulfstream effortlessly. That's what made them so popular...advanced hull design...24 degree deadrise...ruggedly built.... all give it the ability to slice through 6 and 8 foot waves. So don't hesitate to get on it in the rough stuff. That's what it was designed for.
WARPATH has just been awl gripped two tone grey. The interior has just been re-fit with gloss cherry cabinetry. Carpets and soft goods are fresh. This boat is ready to go.

The master is located in the bow and features a queen (custom made/shape) berth on centerline. There is a hanging locker on port and a built in bureau on starboard. Moving aft into the salon, there is a head with a shower on the starboard side followed by a convertible settee. Across on port is the full length galley featuring molded countertops, molded in sink and gold plated plumbing fixtures.
On deck you will find a starboard side helm with a double seat that converts to a bolster. There is a full width bench seat just forward of the engine room with port and starboard upholstered sun pads. The Arneson surface drives are hidden by an oversized aluminum swim platform.
If you use the term “lightly used” that might be appropriate. This Cary has spent nearly half of its life in climate controlled storage. It was tied up in the former owner’s estate for 5 years…in covered storage. The current owner has been diligent with maintenance and upgrades and is reluctantly offering her up for sale.
