Enter the Cabin from the cockpit through a companionway with a sliding overhead hatch and a molded fiberglass hatch-board that provides security and the convenience of a one piece waterproof hatch. An optional 36"x72" companionway insect screen can be used instead of the solid hatch for ventilation. Down several stairs and the bright and airy cabin offers full standing headroom and comfortable accommodations.
The Dinette table to starboard can seat four people and a long Settee on the Port side of the salon can seat four and all seats have storage behind and below the cushions. The long settee seats to port are wide enough to be used as a single berth, and the dinette converts to a berth by lowering the table and covering it with a cushion. Opposite the Dinette, the Galley is aft to port and consists of a clever molded fiberglass unit mounted on tracks to allow it to slide fore and aft when not in use; with a built in sink and storage cabinets below, and an upgraded Two-Burner Origo Non-Pressurized Alcohol stove-top with optional wooden cutting board cover.
Forward of the mirrored Dinette bulkhead to starboard is a fully enclosed head with a bi-fold solid door for privacy. A large V-berth that sleeps two is forward, with an overhead 30"x30" foredeck hatch, complete with an optional screen. There is also a Full-Beam Queen-sized aft berth behind the companionway stairs. All berth cushions and seating are in "Like-New" condition.
The Gebena Sea, a 2006 MacGregor 26M Powersailer, is well-equipped for sailing or motoring with a comfortable cockpit featuring optional seat cushions and dual stern rail mounted Captain Seats. The Helm seat is hinged and easily raises for access to the outboard engine and the hinged seats on either side conceal each of the two 12.5 gal. plastic gas tanks. Two coaming-mounted Primary Lewmar #9 winches make sheeting the 150% Genoa easy with several floating winch handles. Forward on the cabintop, accessible from the cockpit, the Genoa and Mainsail Halyards are led aft, each to a Lewmar Halyard Winch.
This MacGregor 26M has been upgraded for maximum performance with a new and improved 5' fiberglass Daggerboard that was installed in 2015. All Sheets were also replaced in 2015. The rotating mast ensures optimum angle of the Mainsail to the wind and and the 2013 Doyle Stack Pack with Lazy Jacks and 2013 Doyle Mainsail and 150% Genoa are in Like-New condition.
